Benefits of enabling notify-driven replication across Active Directory sites and how to do it

Species the frequency, in minutes, for which replication will occur where this site link is in use between sites.Active Directory preserves bandwidth between sites by minimizing the frequency of replication and by allowing you to schedule the availability of site links for replication.By default, intersite replication across each site link occurs every 180 minutes (3 hours). You can adjust this frequency to match your specific needs.Be aware that increasing this frequency increases the amount of bandwidth used by replication.

Enabling notify-driven replication across Active Directory sites

if you are implementing the major changes to active directory like extending the schema version. it is recommended that you should disable the outbound replication on schema master domain controller. After disabling the replicating, do the changes and test the changes if you find that changes you have made are unacceptable, you can just rollback the changes from schema master domain controllers rather than being faced with the prospect of performing a disaster recovery operation on your entire domain.

If your organisation has a main domain example.org, staff and students are contained in two child domains staff.example.org and students.example.org. The 3 domains (example.org, staff.example.org and students.example.org) each have a domain controller (dc01, dc02 and dc03 respectively.) Each domain controller contains a full, writable, representation of only the objects that belong to its domain. However, assuming that the Global Catalog has been enabled (see below) on one of the domain controllers (for example dc01) a query to the Global Catalog would reveal matching objects from all three domains. The Global Catalog is automatically maintained through replication across the active directory forest, it can also be enabled on multiple servers (if, for example, you need redundancy / load balancing.)

SCCM Quiz Question #57: The company where you work has got two active directory forests named pd.ABC.com and cs.ABC.com. SCCM has been deployed in the pd.ABC.com forest. You have employed a logon script for deploying the Configuration Manager client to workstations in the pd.ABC.com forest. You are then instructed to automatically deploy the Configuration Manager client to workstations in the cs.ABC.com forest. You start by configuring a Client Push Installation account, and enabling the Client Push installation option. Which of the following actions should you take next ?.
